I have decided to post an image of my studio setup at home. I often get enquiries for large family or group studio photoshoots and it can be clearly seen that I do not have enough space for this type of shoot.
To set the studio up, I have to move all the furniture out and dismantle it again after the shoot. This involves about an hour and a half's labour in total.
The image was taken using just one of the studio lights. During the actual shoot, the lights on the white backdrop are activated, blowing most of the creases etc out. The rest are taken out during editing. Underneath the white backdrop is a black backdrop.
For larger families and groups, I move my stuff to fellow photographer and friend's, Fiona Byrns, house nearby. She has a much larger space and I have done family groups of up to 9 people there.
It all actually works quite well!!
